Defence-Grade Wildlife Management
Heli-Ops has delivered specialist wildlife management services for the Department of Defence at multiple active bases across South Australia.
Our team successfully completed a 12-month ground-based contract at RAAF Base Woomera, ensuring that wildlife did not enter the rocket range or airfield. For the past six years at RAAF Base Edinburgh, we have conducted ongoing precision culling operations around multi-million-dollar aircraft on active runways, demonstrating absolute professionalism and safety in high-security environments.
Each operation adheres to strict Defence protocols and RSPCA doctrine, using state-of-the-art D-class semi-automatic firearms and conducted exclusively by CASA-certified marksmen holding national aerial culling qualifications.

Trusted by Landholders and Aboriginal Communities
Beyond Defence operations, Heli-Ops has worked extensively with private landowners, Aboriginal land trusts, and national aerial partners to manage pest species humanely and efficiently across Australia.
We’ve collaborated with Helimuster NT on aerial culling programs and maintain active approval to operate on several Aboriginal rural land trusts, working closely with Traditional Owners to protect native habitats and sustain ecological balance.
Whether supporting large-scale aerial programs or conducting precision ground operations, owner-operator Craig and his team combine cutting-edge aviation technology with accredited expertise to deliver results safely, ethically, and reliably.
